  1. Favourite memory of playing for Norsemen? The end of the season before last. Last game of the season, last minute, we must score to be promoted, if we fail the team we are playing takes our place. Ross Coleman hoofs the ball into the clouds, Cass Weaver noods the ball down into the path our rampaging centre back, Andy Grant calmly slips the ball home. The best way to win a game, promotion and a seasons hard work.
    2.  Best player and why? Reggy. Because of the five man attack he deployed when we won the league and for time I had to convince him I don’t sell the Big Issue.
    3.  Favourite club to play against? Old Stationers. I can’t stop scoring against them.
    4.  Best away trip for food? 2005 Alleyn Old Boys but only because we raided their fridges and Lee Dawson ate a couple of kilos of cheese.
    5.  Favourite old boy? Forbes.
    6.  What’s the best goal you have scored for Norsemen? Pre season game for Norsemen 1’s against the Hill. 40 yard volley. Just silly.
    7.  Favourite Norsemen of all time? Captain Marvel Andy Bates is pipped into second by the stationary Graham Lewis.
    8.  Worst moment for Norsemen? Andy Casey’s entire 2’s season.
    9.  Favourite training memory? Ross Coleman crying about his lack of a left foot.
    10. Best thing about being a Norsemen? I think the best thing about being a Norsemen is how infinite it is. It reminds me of a soap opera, it keeps going regardless of the cast. I like how Norsemen is whoever is wearing the blue of Norsemen on any given Saturday afternoon, in any given month, in any given year. Norsemen doesn’t exist without the players, the supporters and the members but only ever at one particular moment in time. No one person is Norsemen. But everybody is part of it. The Norsemen is always there and to a certain degree always will be. But those people who make the club are only there fleetingly. People always change and move on, they retire, they will be forgotten and they will eventually die. Some are only here for one week, some are here for decades. Despite this Norsemen endures. It will keep rolling on regardless of goals scored and goals conceded, regardless of  the promotions and relegations. The players who make Norsemen will hopefully enjoy your time at the club but eventually it will leave them and they will be replaced by younger players and they will have their time until the same happens to them. Apart from Denby as he will hopefully last forever.
