- Favourite memory of playing for Norsemen? Winning the league last year. Everything from the way we played throughout the season to the willy dance in the shower after the title was won, to beating Old Parks when everyone had a raging hangover on the last day of the season.
- Best player and why? Tajae – still haven’t seen a centre forward who can get the better of him.
- Favourite club to play against? HSBC – amazing pitch and always results in the Norsemen travel club getting on it.
- Best away trip for food? Civil Service a couple of years ago. The served the nicest pies and they ran out just before Macca got one. Ahhhhhhhhh!
- Favourite old boy? It’s a 5 way tie between Radio for his passion for the club, Chunky for being a living legend, Forbes for his constant use of the club motto, Nigel for his foul mouth, and Barry for being more liked than Reggie.
- What’s the best goal you have scored for Norsemen? My second goal away vs BB Eagles in about 2007. Tom Morgan swung a quick free kick in from the left and I met the ball with my massive head from 20 yards and sent it into the top corner.
- Favourite Norsemen of all time? Tough one. I’m going for Tadd for his unrelenting enthusiasm. (Not because he’s captain, honest…)
- Worst moment for Norsemen? Not getting promoted in my first season. Went into last game of the season knowing a win would send us up as champions, anything less and we wouldn’t go up. Drawing 1-1 away to Poly we pushed everyone forward and got caught on the break (Ballers lost his man) and lost 2-1 with the last kick of the game. We still outdrank the oppo in the bar though.
- Favourite training memory? The night it rained. Amazing.
- Best thing about being a Norsemen? The banter with the lads.
